THE HOTEL – BRIEF BACKGROUND
Visby HamnHotell opened in 1994 and is run by GotlandsResor AB, one of Gotland’s leading companies in the field of tourism. GotlandsResor runs its own establishments and offers accommodation, conference, grouptravels and package deals for trips to Gotland. Packages can include the booking of air and ferry tickets for travel to and from the island.
Carina Hammander is the company’s MD. The company has 25 year-round employees. It employs some hundred people in the spring and summer seasons.
